On-Stage Series 2024-2025

Get a discount on your tickets when you buy the final 3 shows On-Stage Series Bundle!

The On-Stage Series is a concert experience in the theatre like no other. Enjoy high quality performers sitting near them on the stage. Walk by the green room, in the back stage area, grab a drink, and like a star, make your way in front of the auditorium under the fly tower just like so many great artists have done since The Esplanade opened in 2005. The environment is uniquely transformed into an intimate and exclusive club, setting the place for an amazing night.

Tickets are also available individually, but the discounted bundle give you the best price.

This is a bundle for the 3 remaining On-Stage shows for 2024-25

On-Stage Series with Tonye Aganaba

Tonye Aganaba’s style is dynamic and fluid - weaving playful threads of Soul, Neo-Folk, Funk, Hip-Hop and R&B. Their shows, gatherings, and workshops are connected and intimate experiences, and evoke a kind of vulnerability that we all hunger for. They are a steadfast fixture in their local arts community - and a passionate and political being.

Their new album ‘Something Comfortable’ is an intentional and devotional endeavour inspired by their battle with Multiple Sclerosis. The album serves as the score to ‘AfroScience’ an immersive performance and workshop series fusing live music, dance, visual art/digital media, and storytelling to stimulate conversation and action around identity, addiction, healing, and expression. Tonye’s shows, workshops, and classes are connected and intimate experiences, and evoke a kind of vulnerability that we all hunger for.

Tonye Aganaba is also a multidisciplinary artist and arts facilitator residing on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.

Get your tickets for only $37.50 all-in. Get an even better price when you buy the whole On-Stage Bundle! The bundle price is only $31.50 per show! No hidden fees.
