Christmas is fast approaching, and that means it’s almost time for Mahoney and Friends, December 4 at the Medicine Hat Esplanade. For well over a decade, Mahoney and Friends has been an annual mainstay, an event that the entire community looks forward to every Christmas season. We have been blessed with a terrific local audience, to build what we think is the best show around, and this year we are finally adding a touch of Christmas. Since their first Esplanade performance in 2014, Mahoney has continuously surrounded themselves with the best and brightest talent in Medicine Hat, to put on an amazing show, a jaw-dropping spectacle that continues to grow every year. Every Christmas season we put together a collection of songs everyone knows and loves, along with a few terrific songs that you may not have heard yet. We take these songs, fine-tune them to their greatest potential, and put everything together in an unparalleled, 2 1/2 hour musical extravaganza. Our show has grown over the years, and Mahoney and Friends now boasts a full rockin’ band, an amazing horn section and some of the finest vocalist around. In years past, we’ve never considered this to be a Holiday show, but this year you can expect nothing less than the best tunes, now featuring several wonderful Christmas classics.

December 4th is destined to be an amazing night, and falling only 3 weeks prior to Christmas, it is the perfect opportunity for staff events, family get-togethers or even the ideal date night. The only show better than Mahoney and Friends at The Esplanade in 2026 will be the next Mahoney and Friends show."
