Week #2: Seeing the "Value" in Still-Life: Students will warm up with quick sketches, then complete a longer value study with charcoal. Focus will be on moving from general shapes to specific details.

Week #3: Express Yourself: Students will learn about how still-life objects can carry meaning and content. Focus will be on drawing as an act of care and attention. Students will bring objects to include in the still life.
