For nearly two decades, Delhi 2 Dublin has been at the forefront of South Asian fusion music, pioneering a global bass sound they call “Subcontinental Pop”—a high-energy blend of Bhangra, electronic, hip-hop, reggae, and Celtic influences that defies genre and unites dance floors worldwide. As they approach their monumental 20th anniversary in 2026, the band is re-energized, re-inspired, and ready to launch a bold new chapter, creating fresh music for the first time in six years. Founding members Sanjay Seran and Ravi Binning continue to lead the charge, pushing Delhi 2 Dublin’s sound and vision to new heights.

What began as a one-night collaboration at Vancouver’s Celtic Fest in 2006 quickly evolved into a global phenomenon, lighting up stages at Electric Forest (USA), Glastonbury (UK), Burning Man (USA), Bali Spirit Festival (Indonesia), and Woodford Folk Festival (Australia), among many others. Their music has taken them around the world, from the clubs of Mumbai to the deserts of Nevada, earning them a reputation for delivering “90 minutes of freebasing joy” at every show. For over a decade, violinist Serena Eades has been a driving force in the band, her electrifying performances and deep musicality adding a rich melodic layer to Delhi 2 Dublin’s ever-evolving sound.

Now, with fresh energy coursing through their veins, Delhi 2 Dublin welcomes producer, keyboardist, and tabla player Kal Mattu, who brings a renewed vibrancy to their ever-evolving sound. This infusion of talent, combined with their signature fusion of hypnotic dhol, deep bass, and euphoric hooks, ensures their next chapter will be as boundary-breaking and high-energy as ever.

With a discography that includes critically acclaimed albums like Planet Electric (2010), Turn Up The Stereo (2012), and We’re All Desi (2015), Delhi 2 Dublin has consistently pushed the boundaries of South Asian music. Their 2019 album, We Got This, produced by Juno Award-winning Gavin Brown, marked a major milestone, earning commercial radio play for the song “My People.” Their innovative approach has secured top spots on international world music charts, millions of streams, multiple Western Canadian Music Awards, and recognition from major platforms like CBC Music, BBC Asian Network, and PBS.

New music is on the horizon and the festival season promises to be bigger than ever, Delhi 2 Dublin is set to remind the world why they’ve remained at the top of the global bass music scene for two decades. The party isn’t slowing down—it’s just getting started.

\"Dancing sitting down is not that much fun, so get up on your feet and get your groove on. Seats in Rows A to L are designated as a dance zone and you're invited to show off your moves and be a part of the show!\"

Painting in the Park. Wednesdays, 5:30 - 7:00, 4-week session at Strathcona Park
June 3, 10, 17, 24 - $180

Offered in partnership with Parks and Recreation, this beginner adult program (ages 17+) invites participants to explore the art of plein air (outdoor) painting in our beautiful city parks. Taking place over four Wednesday evenings in June (5:30–7:00 pm), the workshop blends close observation of nature with practical painting techniques.

Under the guidance of local artist Ruth Adams, students will begin by learning how to create expressive watercolour sketches outdoors, developing their ability to see and interpret the natural world. As the sessions progress, they’ll build on these studies to create a final watercolour painting inspired by their observations and experiences in the landscape. Please dress for the weather and bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on, otherwise all materials will be provided. Make-up sessions may be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather. Class will begin nearest to the boat launch.

The Story Of Creedence Clearwater Revival

CCR is, without a doubt, one of the most important bands in history – that sound is instantly recognizable. In the late 60’s and early 70’s they were huge ... even bigger than the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.  In a three-year span, they dominated the music scene … hit after hit after hit. They were more than music – they defined an era – they defined pop culture -- Woodstock -- Vietnam – hippies – protestors – war veterans. The way CCR’s music registered with people was something we will probably never see again. In ““The Story Of Creedence Clearwater Revival”, that incredible legend is told through stories, music, and multimedia. Hit songs, egos, lawsuits, and brother against brother …. it’s a fascinating and tragic tale brought to life on stage. With a band of award-winning musicians, the energy and vibe of CCR is recreated right before your eyes. You will hear CCR hits, including “Fortunate Son”, “Proud Mary”, “Have You Ever Seen The Rain,” and many, many more. Plus, you will be told the story of a band … that in only a few short years … changed music … forever.

The Story Of Creedence Clearwater Revival” features the powerhouse vocals of acclaimed singer  El Niven, who effortlessly channels the energy and spirit of John Fogerty. Niven is backed up by an all-star band of musicians with over a dozen CCMA awards between them.  Their unmatched musical talent, coupled with a multimedia display, leaves audiences with an unforgettable rock and roll experience.

The Story Of Creedence Clearwater Revival” ... the music... the story... the legend.

‘They're on their way, to the city lights’ ... and, THE predominant Canadian Rock ‘n’ Roll band of the 1970s – The Stampeders – are bringing along all their classic hits: Wild Eyes, Carry Me, Oh My Lady, Devil You, Ramona, Minstrel Gypsy, Hit the Road Jack and, of course, the quintessential Canadian – and Hall of Fame – song, Sweet City Woman! A veritable soundtrack to a whole generation that will ‘carry you home’ ... maybe not to Birmingham ... but back to a time of tie-dyed t-shirts and elevator shoes, 15¢ coffee and homemade apple pie, dating and dreaming ... By the time The Stampeders get to the first chorus of the first song, everyone will be singing along.

In March 2024, just before the Ontario leg of this tour, Ronnie King passed away.  In the final days, while in  palliative care, he insisted that his band mates carry on.  Dave  Chobot, renowned bassist and long time friend of the band, who was already scheduled to be on the tour to sit in for Ronnie as needed, was the obvious choice.  Still, Ronnie  remains a presence at every show, as Rich and Kim share stories from 50plus years on the road and pay tribute with a retrospective video.

The enduring musical legacy of The Stampeders  ... One More Time ... 'better catch a noon train, better get there for a rock 'n' rolling good time!’
